Game Summary

Headcoach is a detailed hands-on management simulation with an excellent and quite lengthy match system where you call all the plays for your team. The 28 NFL teams are split into six divisions and you play a 16-match season, preceded by pre-season games and followed by Playoffs and Superbowl.

Between seasons there is a college draft which helps improve weak areas and replace fading veterans. You start with 45 players, all with different abilities, and at Training Camp you are able to assess their speed over 40 yards together with your coaches' opinions of all players in different positions.

But watching a match is the only safe way to assess form and your pre-season games are vital before you plunge into your first real season.
